Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie chest workout - Train like the Rock


Dwayne Johnson is currently training for his new Black Adam movie set to be released in 2022 where he plays a superhero/anti-hero in the DC Universe. He is said to take the superhero image to the next level, meaning he is training to get even bigger (I didn’t know that was possible).


On this incredible journey, The Rock has kindly released some of his workouts on social media as many people have asked for it. I’ve decided to share one of his workouts for people to try out and train like Dwayne Johnson (trust me, it ain’t easy).


Chest Workout


3 GIANT sets - 4 exercises per set working all angles of the chest with no rest inbetween each exercise.


Dumbbell Chest Fly - 8-10 reps


Barbell Chest Press - 8-10 reps (Dumbbells can be used instead)


Barbell Incline Press - 8-10 reps (Dumbbells can be used instead)


Bodyweight dips until failure


1-2 minutes rest between sets.


The first 3 exercises can be swapped around to suit you but you should always finish with the dips. The reps and rest can also be edited to suit you.
